  • Deep cleaning the shop, from the window to the walls

    Conducting daily employee health screenings, including touch-free temperature checks 

    Sanitizing all surfaces after each service, and sanitizing the cash wrap after each transaction

    Posting safety instructions (a.k.a., the “what-we-expect-from-you’s”) inside and outside the shop 

    All employees will wear masks and gloves throughout all services, and gloves will be thrown out and replaced after each service  

    As we go on and more information from experts and health officials come in, we'll make adjustments that benefit everyone. Things are going to be different, but as always we at HC are committed to giving you iconic service. During this fluid time, we so, SO appreciate your cooperation, compassion and patience.

  • Your nails swell in water which can cause polish to chip and peel, and cause your nails to be susceptible to splitting or breaking. Waterless also reduces the risk of water-borne bacteria and infections. We strive to be as eco-friendly as possible, and going waterless means we are doing our part to conserve a valuable resource. Did you know that a typical salon uses 15 gallons of water per pedicure and almost 50,000 gallons per year? We are doing away with that waste.

  • Your health and safety is of utmost concern to us so we begin all services by spraying our client's hands and feet with a refreshing essential oil cleansing spray. This is followed by a warm towel wrap. Our nail specialist also wash their hands before every service.

  • We take cleanliness to the extreme and we don't just sanitize, we sterilize! All metal tools are cleaned, disinfected and then processed in an autoclave between each service. Many salons use chemicals or UV light boxes to disinfect their tools, which is perfectly legal, but not totally effective at killing all bacteria and viruses.  In an effort to ensure the highest caliber of safety for our clients, we use a high temperature steam and pressure autoclave which is the only tool capable of killing 100% of all infective organisms.  Post-service, all files, buffers and porous tools are disposed of as these are strictly single-use. We take pride in the fact that our shop excels in hygiene protocols and we'd love to give you a tour of our prep-station when you visit us.

  • We are proud to work with wonderful and respected brands. All lines are free of the 7 most toxic chemicals typically found in most polishes. 

  • When you walk through our doors you will immediately notice no harsh, overpowering smells. We do not offer acrylic nails nor do we offer a removal service for them. We do however offer a healthy alternative for nail length with our HC press ons. Please consult with one of our specialists for more information. 

  • If for some reason, your gel mani chips within 3 days of your service, we are happy

    to provide a complimentary fix to the nails that have chipped. The gel color must be the same as the color you received during your original service and we can only fix the nails that have chipped. We kindly request that you email us a picture of your chipped mani at guestser­vices@teamhc.co or come into the shop to show us.

    Chipping complaints 3+ days after any service will not be acknowledged.

  • While gel polish adds strength, it does not protect nails from all breaks. If you'd like us to mend a broken nail as part of a regular service we will gladly do so for $5 per nail.

  • We expect non-toxic nail lacquer to last 2 to 5 days and our non-toxic gel polish

    to last 1 to 2.5 weeks. That said, we recognize that everyone's nails and lifestyles are different and sometimes despite our best efforts (and yours), nails chip, peel, lift and break.

    If your lacquer manicure chips, we offer complimentary touch ups for the first 24 hours following your service. After that, we recommend booking a Polish Change.

    If your gel polish chips, peels, lifts, or any of the art becomes detached, we offer compli­mentary touch ups for the first 3 days following your service. For days 4 - 14, we are happy to fix any issues for $5 per nail. After 14 days, we recommend booking a full service.

  • Unfortunately we aren't able to remove acrylics, hard gels, or dip powder.

  • Clients receiving pedicures are encouraged to wear pants that do not taper from knee to ankle and are discouraged to shave at least 24 hours prior to their service.

    Non-toxic lacquer takes a bit longer to dry. While it may feel dry to the touch, it may take a full 12-24 hours to harden and set.

    Please note that we do not provide disposable slippers at Holy Chic + Co. As a result, we kindly request you bring your own flip flops to wear post-ped­icure to prevent any kind of polish faux pas like smudges and nicks.

  • Please feel free to book online or call us at 804.353.2442.  We recommend you book your service in advance so we can best accommodate your request.  Walk-ins are welcome pending availability. If it’s your first treatment with us, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. 

  • Thursday – Saturday: 10:30am - 6pm (taking our last appointment at 5pm)

    Sunday: 10:30am - 5pm (taking our last appointment at 4pm)

    Monday & Tuesday: Closed

  • We currently cannot host any private events at the moment.

  • We accept all major credit cards.

    At Holy Chic + Co, our prices do not include gratuity. Our staff is working hard to make sure that you are getting your best service possible while feeling cozy and safe at the same time. In order to honor that, we are requiring a MANDATORY 25% gratuity on all services, via Venmo. If you DO NOT HAVE VENMO, we will charge this gratuity as part of your overall service transaction, at 28%. 

  • We appreciate your support and your loyalty means everything to us. That is why we offer a loyalty program. For each visit and service, we provide you, you will earn points. After 100 points you receive a free upgrade. Ask about our loyalty program on your next visit

 

Policies

  • Being a small business with appropriate paid staffing, we require a credit card to hold all appointments. This card will only be charged in the instance of late cancellation, late arrivals or no-show occurrences.

    We kindly request that you cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance so we can fill your spot with our waiting list. All cancellations and/or rescheduled appointments after the 48 hour window will result in 50% of the treatment total as a cancellation fee per booked service. No-show's/Same-days and groups will be charged 100% of the service plus 22% gratuity on the original service price.

  • If you are more than 15 min. late, we reserve the right to shorten or reschedule your service in order to keep the next client's service at their scheduled time. If you are running late, please call us immediately so we can advise your options. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we do need to reschedule your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your service price plus 20% gratuity on the original service price. 

  • Gift Card/ E-Gift Card Purchases are final sale, non-refundable, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed towards service treatments.

    Holy Chic + Co Gift Cards/E-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed at Skin. by HC. Nor can Skin by HC Gift Cards/E-Gift Cards be redeemed at Holy Chic + Co.

    Gift Cards/E-Gift Cards expire 1 year after purchase.

  • All gift card purchases and sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any services.

  • While we love animals, they do not have a place at Holy Chic + Co out of respect for employees and guests with allergies. Service animals with proper outfitting are the only exception to this rule.
